When used in these Terms and Conditions, the following names and terms have the below definitions:

Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully, as they apply to all commercial relationships between One Life, Hike It and the customer (you). These terms are considered standard in the industry and are set forth in clear and simple language.

We see hiking as a lifestyle that embraces freedom rather than rules. However, when two parties enter into a business relationship, agreed Terms and Conditions help ensure a smooth and cooperative experience.

By booking with us, you agree to these terms and conditions.

Making Bookings

Bookings of rooms, bungalows, villas, refuges, etc., are subject to availability.

Unpaid reservations or those with unconfirmed or unanswered emails regarding inquiries or requests will be canceled after one week. This allows the company to offer the accommodation to other customers.

All optional details and extra services (e.g., transportation, meals, alcohol) must be specified at the time of booking and are considered binding.

All customers must be at least 18 years old to make a booking.

Health and Physical Fitness

By booking, clients confirm they are physically fit and free of conditions that may affect their participation in hiking activities. A good level of fitness is required to ensure group enjoyment. If unsure, customers should consult a doctor at their own expense.

Insurance and Travel Documents

Insurance

We recommend that all customers purchase travel cancellation insurance to cover potential losses due to injury, illness, or medical impairment that prevents travel or participation. Claims require a doctor’s note.

Additionally, we recommend purchasing travel medical insurance that covers emergency transportation, hospitalization, and treatment. Some policies may not cover accidents while hiking or engaging in adventure activities—please ensure your insurance includes hiking up to 2,000 meters.

Travel Documents

Customers are responsible for obtaining all necessary travel documents, including visas and a passport valid for at least eight months from the travel date with sufficient blank pages for stamps.

Payment Conditions

A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking, with the remaining 50% due at least two months before the trip date.

Cancellations and Rebookings

Cancellations by the Customer

  • Cancellations must be submitted via email.

  • If canceled at least 60 days before the trip, you will receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.

  • If canceled between 30 and 60 days before the trip, you will receive a 50% refund.

  • Cancellations made less than 30 days before the trip are non-refundable.

  • No refunds for no-shows.

Rebookings

Rebookings can be made at least 60 days before the tour date, subject to availability.

Cancellation by One Life, Hike It

We reserve the right to cancel a booking due to extraordinary circumstances that prevent us from delivering the service safely. In such cases, customers will receive a full refund but not reimbursement for additional expenses (e.g., bank fees).

Risks

Hiking and adventure activities involve some level of risk. Customers must assess their fitness and health suitability before booking. By booking, you agree to cover any necessary medical costs in case of injury or illness during activities.

Disclaimer

Participation in One Life, Hike It activities is entirely at the customer’s own risk. Customers waive all claims against the company and its employees for any injury, accident, illness, death, or damage occurring during activities.

One Life, Hike It is not responsible for disturbances caused by animals, nature, or neighbors. Customers must inform us of any medical conditions before departure. Customers are also responsible for damages to accommodations or equipment and may be charged for repairs.

We are not liable for lost or stolen property.

Data Usage and Protection

During hikes and activities, we may take photos or videos for marketing and promotional purposes. By booking, you consent to the use of your image unless you opt out via email. Personal data is treated confidentially and will not be shared with third parties, except as required for fulfilling your booking.
